Gene Davis

Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis | Pfeffere,                       John Pfefferle               Gene was Principal of Davis Project Solutions, LLC.  From 2003 to 2006, he was General Manager of Midland Paper Company of Northern Wisconsin.

From 1975 to 2003, Gene was Owner and President of CW Paper of Wisconsin.  He also served as President of 3M National Distributor Council, President of National Paper Trade Association Foundation and Chairman of Network Associates Netprint Committee.

Gene was employed with Wausau Paper Corporation from 1965 to 1975, working in industrial engineering, sales and distribution management.  He resided in Wausau, WI, Chicago, IL, Bel Air, MD and Ogden, UT.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2nd Lieutenant, Signal Officer for a Service and Supply Battalion, United States Army Reserves, from 1965 to 1972
  • Assisted in designing and implementing “Industry Firsts” in paper converting processes; opened the Canadian market as a customer for Wausau Paper Corporation; expanded the distribution base in Utah market.  From 1965 to 1975.
  • Acquired five competitive businesses by various means and successfully integrated them into CW Paper from 1975 to 2003.
